Text Box: Michael Laird, SPHR Training & Development Delta Regional Medical Center Michael is a native Mississippian who has spent his career working to develop people and winning teams across many disciplines including public schools, business and non-profit organizations. Throughout these experiences, he has worked with young students, adults and business owners in building and sustaining cultures that embrace fundamental leadership and teamwork principles. Today more than ever, these principles of effective teamwork apply in our professional and personal lives. Michael’s education experience includes a degree in Music Education from Mississippi State University, an Executive Certificate in Leadership & Development from Notre Dame University and is currently pursuing an MBA program with a Human Resource emphasis from Edinburgh Business School.

Capps, Jr. Technology Center, is located in Indianola, Mississippi on U.S. Highway 82 midway between Greenwood and Greenville, 8 miles west of Moorhead, the home of Mississippi Delta Community College. The Capps Center is strategically located at the geographical center of the seven counties service area of Mississippi Delta Community College. Its primary purpose is to focus on the training, education, and skills improvement needs of businesses and industries.
